STARTING IMMEDIATELY, HK PICTURES HAS SPLIT INTO TWO COMPANIES. GEORGE M. KOSTUCH NOW HAS K2 PICTURES (myspace.com/k2pictures) and JASON HEWITT NOW HAS FILMS IN MOTION. HK WILL NO LONGER BE PRODUCING FILMS UNDER THAT COMPANY. BUT, KEEP POSTED FOR NEW PROJECTS UNDER THE TWO NEW COMPANIES.THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT.HK Pictures is a production company based in Baton Rouge, LA. The company was founded a little over a year ago by producing partners, Jason Hewitt and George M. Kostuch. Through June 1, 2006, HK Pictures and producing partner, Most Wanted Films (Dan Garcia of the twin brother rap duo, Kane and Abel), have produced 6 feature length films. Number 7, an action film called, "Death Toll" and starring rap star DMX, Keisha Knight Pullium, Leila Arcieri and Lou Diamond Phillips, begins production in Baton Rouge on June 14.HK / MWF will wrap production of Death Toll on July 1 and then will immediately prep and shoot an urban comedy. This project is down to two final scripts. One will be selected soon. Following the urban comedy project, HK /MWF will begin prepping their next big undertaking, The Bishop, starring Clifton Powell from the blockbuster hit, Ray and once again, rap icon, DMX will beef up a production for HK / MWF. Stay tuned for release dates on the following HK / MWF feature films: The Rim Shop, an urban comedy starring Tiny Lister and rap star, Mr. Magic. Block Party 2, starring rap star Webbie, Tiny Lister and Clifton Powell. This is the Day, a christian film starring Grammy Nominated Christian rap star, Pedidie. Terror on the Bayou, a Louisiana flavored horror film starring Clifton Powell, Wes Brown (We are Marshall with Matthew Mahconhey) and Tamie Sheffield.
