Pay attention to the percentages of slaves that were taken to Central, Caribbean and South America. Less than 5% of African slaves came to the United States. Slavery existed in many Latin American countries. We are ONE people. Next time they try to pin Black on Brown or Brown on Black, tell them to get their facts straight! We share a common lineage, a common history of oppression, a common dream of liberation and self-determination. Vivan los AfroLatinos! :)
