Don't take life too seriously because you'll never get out of it alive!

About Me

There's actually not much to me, really. I'm in my 30's and quite aware of the fact that existence is nothing more than a testing ground for a seemingly unattainable nirvana. That said, I truly do feel that people should simply enjoy life to the fullest extent possible, so long as others are never, ever battered by the backwash.

My Interests

Reading, writing, sailing, singing into the mirror, traveling, having a cat on my lap, drinking vodka/cranberry, walking the beach barefoot, dreaming, dancing and smacking around legless midgets are but a few of the many things that keep me from flying blindly through the jungle of bonkers!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who can tolerate being alone in a room with me, without needing to drop a handful of ecstasy!

Not terribly into television but do like the family Guy, the Colbert Report, the Daily Show, "2 Pints..." and Coupling.

Books:

The Power Of Now, Coney Island Of The Mind, Confessions Of An English Opium Eater, the Third Wave, the Beautiful and Damned and, of course, Catcher In the Rye are just some of many favourites.

La Mirada

Last November I hoofed my way into Western Canada and had quite the time of it too. Some may recall, others may not but whilst amid the majesty of mountains demanding complete and utter veneration I c...

Of Incipient Decline

The temperature is starting to drop in the evenings and that crisp autumnal air, air that often volleys me back to the start of any given high school year is creeping, ever so subtly, back into the at...

Ex-Pugilist On the Second

On the shape-shifting shores of timelessness, the hourglass sand lands. Stop me, oh stop me if you think you've heard this one before... I walked the beach this morning and eventually I sat mysel...

Click A Slut

I wonder, are there that many low self-esteemed seductresses with bogus breasts whoring about myspace, or is someone at myspace just randomly finding and pushing pictures of bronzed up strumpets in bu...

This Mortal Coil

This shall be the last blog entry of the day for me, I swear... Scout's honour! But that aside, a theme today is music and so on that the good, the bad and the utterly forgettable have all haphazardly...

The Butterfly Effect

Chuang Chou once dreamt that he was a butterfly. When he awoke, and veritably was Chuang Chou once again, he did not know whether or not he was indeed Chuang Chou dreaming he was a butterfly, or wheth...
