I like any book that is by Kurt Vonnegut. "Our band could be your life" by michael azerrad is pretty awesome. It's about so called "alternative" punk bands from the early eighties to the early ninties like minor threat, the minutemen, and big black. I also like David Sedaris stuff as well.
