Myron was born in Memphis Tn. April 30 1974,he is married to a very beautiful ,,lovely woman named Wanda and she is a gift from the mold of God. These two are very unique when they are around each other,,let him tell theres nothing better in this universe that can top or be more beautiful than his wife. He is also the wonderful father of Autumn and Christian and Derrick. Myron started on drums at the age of two years old creating a name for himself at a very young age.He started playing drums at BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS where he consistantly played with such artist like Thomas Whitfeild ,Myrna Summers, Rance Allen ,Hawkins Family ,just to name a few,,then he branched off as he got older and started playing bass.While he saught after that instrument,, he started playing bass on suday mornings at various churches and playing drums for various community choirs. Later he began doing recordings on both instruments,,,almost like one of his favorite musician "Joel Smith".
It became evident that his skills were growing at a faster rate than anyone thought and he found himself being sought after with many bands in the city,eventually landing him top gigs as the house drum chair with the B.B. King's Club All-Star Orchestra,Memphis'legendary 70's funk band-The BarKays,and other hits with S.O.S. Band,ConFunkShun,Midnight Star,etc...His incredibly funky backbeat then lead to him being discovered by the MD for one of country music's fastest rising stars,Sony/BMG artist Jake Owen.Myron can now be seen in Jake's hot new CMT video,"Yee-Haw" and driving Jake's touring band opening for present country music top dog,Kenny Chesney! If you hear that Jake is coming to your town,you owe it to yourself to hear this powerhouse drummer driving that high-powered 93 octane groove right thru your soul! Don't miss it!
