The Almost Famous Emerging Artist

About Me

I enjoy anything and everything about visual art. Please check out my website http://www.nanettehartwell.net I am a visual artist and am going to school to become a Web Designer and Graphic Artist. I love drawing (charcoal, graphite, prismacolor, pastel, and mixed media), painting (oils and watercolors as well as digital painting) and plan to continue my pursuit to enter contests, art shows and find a gallery that will be my representative to sell my art. I love music (see my musical listing), being outdoors with nature, chess, computer games that stimulate the brain, and movies (see my listing). I love photography both film and digital, preferably black and white (Blake Praytor and Ansel Adams- two of the most powerful photographers evah), poetry slams (both writing and spitten), reading, traveling to wonderful places both internationally as well as the good ol' USA and speaking foreign languages to include Spanish, German, and French (as well as English). I am partnered with a wonderful womyn named Dawn. Of course I am a computer geek and because of my degree I shall be utilizing my MacBookPro and the Adobe Web Suite bundle to include Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, GoLive and will purchase Quark as I will need these applications for both web designing and graphic arts. I am a major UT Lady Vols basketball fan, Go Team and Pat Summit.I am also a major Indianapolis Colts Fan and have been since they obtained their franchise in 1983, as well as being a die hard Hoosier who is currently residing in the south because I can't stand the snow and blow and arctic temperatures.
