About Me

Here's a snippet from my bio:Tim was raised on a Quarter Horse and cattle ranch in rural Seminole County, Oklahoma. His career in entertainment began when he received his first drum kit at age 6. Tim played his first professional “gig” at age 7 and has never looked back. He began a career in radio at 18 and after 13 years as a radio announcer and producer Tim re-dedicated his life to the music business. Since that time Tim has made his mark as a touring musician, writer and music producer working with his own regional act as well as many nationally acclaimed entertainers. Tim’s experiences growing up in an extremely rural environment where wildlife, horses and cattle were a way of life, have inspired his writing and performance style. Tim's un-dying quest for success in the entertainment business has led him to his current position as bass player/bandleader/producer for Shawna Russell as well as president of Way Out West Records. Tim co-wrote 7 of the songs on Ty England's new album "Alive and Well and Livin' the Dream" (including the #1 hit "Texans Hold'em") and served as co-producer on the album. Tim's latest project is a new album with his niece "Shawna Russell". A 13 song album co-written by family members Shawna, Keith and Tim, and featuring world class musicians, "Russell Kunkel", "David Santos", and "Jon Conley". The album was released this year and is available on ITunes, CD Baby etc. "Goddess" has been getting critical acclaim from high level publications including Country Weekly and Maverick.
