Photography, Djing, they're both an art form. I love them both the same. It's all an experiment nothing is always the same. This site is in conjunction of both art forms photography and djing from the beginning of the toronto nite life to today from 1990-2006+(Alex D wasn't the only guy at a party with a camera).
I still use my good ol canon T70 35mm camera, i find using my 35mm faster in production then any Digital Slr series camera due to the hours spent on photoshop colour correcting projects and i also like the softer feeling to the pictures out of a 35mm. I produce my own pics using my darkroom pure optical pictures cause there is no sense bringing your work to a photo lab when they all use digital machines, no opitics there. You cant compare 35mm to digital, I have done it and feel that the digital camera's still dont have what it takes to keep up with any 35mm. Like my saying goes circles are smoother than squares. Thus this is where the turtle beats the rabbit.I am not a thug as in thug I am more like person who loves what he does. The only weapon i am packing is my 35mm. I like Nitelife, scenery shots as well as macrophotography.
I have never looked at myself as a professional photographer or even a dj. I look at myself as an artist from both worlds. Just like music, photography is always changing and i will change with it.
From then till now i have changed with the times. I have gone back to school and became a mechanical engineer / Drafter. Something i have always wanted to do. Have i left photography you ask? Nope not at all just moved from one art form to another. From film to design.
