This should really be titled ABOUT US!.
We are San and Matt - that surprised you didn't it! - what do you mean NO?
We have set this page up purely to play around on my space.
Ok so we may be a bit old for all this stuff - but hey 'you're as young as you feel.. right?'. (Please say 'yes!')
Occupation says 'Monsters of Mayhem doorslaves and free taxi service' and that about sums us up! Apart from us being partners in 'The Bank of Mum 'n' Dad', the 'MoM Storage Depot' and 'MoM Webslaves'
Oh, we have proper jobs too.. you know the ones where you get paid!? Nothing too demanding tho just a couple of little places called O2 and NHS... so luckily we have lots of time for MoM and our offspring!?
Marc (Dunny) - the 'boss' at Monsters of Mayhem is the eldest of our 'gruesome twosome'. Being the 'doting' (lol!) parents that we are we help and support him in this venture whenever we can.
We're sure that putting us on the door is just a way to keep us out of the way while he enjoys himself getting drunk in the next room! But who cares (?) you're only young once so you might as well enjoy it!
What was that? You go to Monsters of Mayhem and didn't know that the two wrinklies on the door were Dunnys parents? Well remember it for next time - cos if you stand on my toes again I'll get the boss to chuck you out! lol..
Dunny used to play guitar in a couple of bands - DKO and Fallen Heroes. So between being a door slave and a free taxi service we've also managed to become 'sometime' roadies for DKO - getting lost in Leamington Spa was sooo much fun... we blame it all on 'routefinder'!!
Fallen Heroes have now gone their separate ways but rumour has it DKO are working on new stuff so they may be back soon.
Free Taxi Service? - that's the view held by Dunnys younger bro, Danny - yes it does get confusing in our house with Dunny and Danny - but our poor debilitated brains have managed ok tho'!
Although he's not in any bands at all Danny is just as serious about his music as Marc (Dunny) is. Plays guitar until all hours of the night - can't say we mind too much but it would be nice to hear the TV sometimes... We just need to remind him now and then that he can WALK places - or even, if it comes to it there are these things called buses and even trains .. lol
Danny has recently taken over the running of the 'Distortion' nights at Bar Studio in Runcorn - no doubt it means more 'roadie service' for mum n dad but here's hoping 'Distortion' goes as well for Danny as MoM is for his bro.
I seriously think we are taking this parenting lark a bit too far!.... I'm sure I read somewhere that kids look after the parents at some point too - and I don't mean just finding us a nice nursing home!
Well thats about it I think... must be the alzheimers, but I'm sure there was something else... ahh well - its gone now...
If you go to MoM we'll see you there - dead easy to spot us..we're the ones on the door taking your money - he has 'Matt' on his Tshirt and I have 'San' on mine... cool eh??...
