About Me

Hello! My name is Alisa. I'm 21 years old and I go to school at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles. I'm originally from the wonderful capitol, Sacramento (Go Kings!), and contrary to what most people think, it's not a cow town or anything. As much as I love it in NorCal I am having a blast down in LA, but up north is where my heart lies. I'm a pretty simple person, I don't drink or smoke which makes me a bit of a goody-goody, but I still love to go out and have a good time. Random adventures are always a plus for me. I like to go explore and find new, interesting, unique things to do. I'm told I am way too nice, but I dont understand how people can be too nice. Isn't nice a good thing? Sometimes I go off on tangents and ramble, people tell me I have a horrible attention span. Anywho, I am currently an art major with a graphic design emphasis and i am a business minor. I'm hoping to get into advertising someday. My dream job would be to be involved in the music industry but seeing as I have absolutely no musical talent I would love to do something like design covers for some legit hip-hop or r&b artists. Music is really important to me because it always seems to speak what I think. It has the power to completely change my mood. I love it. I love meeting new people,too! I find people to be so interesting! I think it's great that everyone has a different story, comes from such different places, and always tends to have something new to bring to the table. I love deep conversations where people just open up because I'm pretty much an open book. But, as much as I love talking to people, Im not here to meet anyone off of myspace, makes me nervous, and, well, better safe than sorry! :) Well, I have rambled enough! Movies:

Im an easy movie lover. Sit me down to watch a movie and I will like it! I like silly movies like Zoolander, Old School, Friday, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, and things like that. Some of my other favorites movies tho are Brown Sugar, Love & Basketball, Closer and pretty much any Disney movie! lol Oh yea, and scary movies, too, I dont handle the bloody parts to well, but I loooove getting scared!

Television:

I watch too much TV. Simpsons, Family Guy, cooking shows, and a lot of discovery channel, Full House and all those other damn shows that used to be on TGIF!

Books:

I like art books and books that can make me cry. One book called "Night" by Elie Wiesel was probably the best book I have ever read but it was so sad.
