About Me

CURRENT MOON moon phases I am what I am and strive to maintain my "unique" character... ~~I spent most of my childhood traveling with my parents around North America. I managed to be in 6 schools between first and fifth grade... not fun... but such is life. I grew up (mostly) in New Orleans and Bow, NH (outside of Concord). I have been to Mexico, Canada & every state in the US except for Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon & Washington.~~I accept people for who they are- I do not see the reason in changing someone: If I cannot handle the behaviour, I leave. ~~My current short term goals: find a job I like; backpack and hostel through Iceland, India, Vietnam, Northern Europe; quit passing out christian literature on the corner. ~~Long term goals: set up private practice; live under the trees in an eco-friendly home and be independent of the utility companies (i.e. use alternative power); maintain at least two cats and/or a dog...Oh, Yeah..i have three cats...

I love the blues, bluegrass, old jazz (pre 1950), zydeco (no, not because its cool, but because I grew up with it), big band, some top 40 disco (1970s), new wave (hey, can't escape high school in the 80s without a huge new wave tape collection) & punk (see previous)--Horror pop is really REALLY fun.... I am NOT a country fan (ickie doo-doo!!) - nor am I big on hip-hop, rap, R&B-- NOT music--but love NPR and Mystery Theatre and the old radio shows--(the shadow)

Movies:

grindhouse- hmmmm children of men-pans labyrinth-the deceived-Fur:An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus-the good shepherd... I adopted a cute lil' death fetus from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!

Television:

CALIFORNICATION!!John Adams, The Tudors, Weeds, Dexter, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Southpark, CSI, Dr. Who, Torchwood, House, The Ritches, Hockey IF i have company...hate commercials ..

Books:

My all time favourite books are: TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD & THE SOUND AND THE FURY. I love the library and try to avoid book stores because i cant get out of them without dropping waaay too much money... Science fiction, paranormal fiction, mysteries, suspense, cookbooks, general reference--im a curious creature--if i dont know, i find out...
