Vacations are for wimps

About Me

Born in a little log cabin, split rails by day, studied at night by the fire light...oh that's been done.Okay how about: hey, is that a brain or a hatrack? Let's see the world around us and not snooze through life. No refund, no rain check, no ticket - no laundry! Be nice or leave.Well that's a starting point, I guess, a case statement as we say in non-profit world.I like most people except those who are mean spirited. I prefer adults to infants, or at least adults who are not infantile. Love to meet people who are passionate & compassionate, thoughtful & thinking. I love to learn new things and myspace offers many opportunities to so do (there are a few things I've found here that I definitiely do not wish to have further information about or, heavens, more images of). But drop a line if you have a topic or question or observation. I'm sure it'll be nice to meet you. What else? I've no cable, no Tivo, and I rarely turn on my cell phone outside business hours -- prefering a loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thee ..or if not you, then a good book!NEW! have a look at my latest undertaking www.civicengage.com

British Advertising Awards great

The Brooks Museum ran an hour long compilation of award winning British TV ads tonight and it was about the most entertaining hour I've spent in a  theater in ages. Think Super Bowl good ads. Jus...
