Wow. Let's see -- my husband, cats, books, beading, bodhran, gardening, Science Fiction, Medieval and 18th century British history and literature, tracking down my high school science teacher, keeping up with friends, and causing trouble. Oh, and learning to cook...
Intelligent humans (ShiftLock, if you're reading this, don't be flattered) who can spell and who don't think that a married woman with a MySpace account is automatically looking for sex. I've got a hot young stud, thank you very much, and I'm married to him. (Sorry, Jon, I know that's squicky for you. ;-)
Elvis, Dixie Chicks, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Celtic Woman, Tinsmith, The O'Danny Girls, Natalie MacMaster, Cherish the Ladies, Gilbert and Sullivan, Lowen and Navarro, The Pyrates Royale, Celtic Woman, The Interpreters, The Clancy Brothers, and many, many others -- hopefully soon The High Kings, although I'm having a terrible time taking them seriously.
Not a lot. Most of them are seriously bad. My all-time favorite is (Christopher Reeve's) Superman. I adore old MGM musicals, watching Gene Kelly float is amazing...oh, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl. WONDERFUL movie! :-) Dead Man's Chest was awful, and At World's End a trifle forgettable...I'm looking forward to Peter Jacobs' Hobbit, I suppose. Oh! And Appaloosa, by Bob Parker! The book was unexpectedly wonderful (really, a Western? But yes!), so I have vaguely high hopes for the movie...
Not much at the moment. House! Oh, House is wonderful! Hugh Laurie rocks! Of COURSE he's British! Just when I though I'd finally found an American actor to like... ::sigh::And NASCAR is back; the 2008 season has BEGUN! My driver is (relatively) stable for the moment, thank Heavens, so we'll see what the Nationwide Series brings us -- let's hope Kevin can repeat at Daytona! Go, Kevin Harvick!!!!!!!!!
Where to start? Alexander Pope's poetry to Harry Potter and beyond. I'm currently reading The Golden Compass in hopes that it makes more sense than the movie. So far, so -- adequate? It does make more sense than the movie, but there are still plot holes you could drive the proverbial lorry through...
My Mom, Eric Lowen, Father Bruce Ritter, my husband...
