Rowdy Ramblers have finally completed their much-anticipated first full length LP, "Blessed By The Tide Turn". The album follows previous releases, the 7” “In The Midnight Hipshaker” and the 10” ep, “The Maple”.
Rowdy Ramblers came about in 2002, with Erik Bystedt, Olle Belfrage and Tompa Ekesiöö being the three original members. In the writing of the new album their good friend Gareth Smith joined as the fourth rowdy member of the Ramblers. Gareth was the co-producer of “The Maple” and plays guitar in the furious Raging Speedhorn.
The album was recorded in a few crucial days and long emotional nights, with the mighty Konie at his Studio Kobra in Stockholm. It sounds like nothing else of today, spanning between the feel good rock n’ roll we all love and the dark and manic places we all share in the corners of our hearts…
The album is due to be released the 30th of january 2008.
Upon setting the album loose, Rowdy Ramblers plan to tear it up on the road and bring it to you! Wherever you are, they’ll find you!
