I am a filmmaker from New Zealand. For commercial work, I am currently represented by Prodigy Films in New Zealand, Australia and U.S.A.
In 2005 I wrote and directed my debut short film, US, which has since been selected to play in 18 international film festivals and was this year nominated for three NZ Screen Awards - Best Short Film, Best Short Screenplay and Best Performance in a Short Film.
Since then I have spent the past 18 months living in Toulouse, France and Madrid, Spain. Whilst living in these cities I have been developing film projects and writing screenplays.
Back in New Zealand I am directing commercials for Prodigy Films and am in development on two feature films.
The first is THE GIRLS' WAR - the thrilling, tragic and true love story of a British whaling captain and a young indigenous Maori woman set against the backdrop of pre-colonised New Zealand.
The second, UNDER OUR LOW SKY, another tale of cultural clash and confusion, tells the story of a young New Zealand writer, his new French wife and a friend from the past who arrives on their doorstep and throws all three lives into chaos.
