SYNOPSIS:
Eric Smith was lovingly adopted and welcomed into a Khmer family. When gang and drug ties to a local kingpin result in his mother’s murder, Eric falls deep into the criminal underbelly to find her killers. The life of easy money and fast women slowly corrode his moral compass and he begins to embrace the thug life. One man with a common past, Rithy Keo, who is searching for his brother’s murderers feels that their plights might be connected. He connives Eric into working for him and becoming his mole as Eric delves further into the abyss of the drug culture. Problems arise when information surfaces pegging Eric’s uncle, Bill Smith, as the possible gunman who shot Rithy’s brother. SYNOPSIS:
CHRISNA CHEA is a 33 year old loner in the mean streets of Phnom Penh, slipping slowly into isolation and violent misanthropy. His means of survival leads him to work the streets as a delivery man. Amongst the streets that he roams in the after hours, he unknowingly holds a tragic past that draws him closer to the red light district. At the same time, he is drawn with touching attempts to woo Tina, an Aids peace worker. His approach although quickly becomes unsuccessful, and once again he is alone. He than haphazardly meets Chanda, a young girl off the district lights during his many shifts. They share an unusual bond that increasingly becomes more familiar and ever close. This abrupt meeting however drives him to powerlessness and leads him to become an infamous lone crazed gunman.
