I owe alot of credit to Sonny Boy Williamson, it was his music that pretty much got me into playing harmonica. If you go to hiram college you probably know me as the person wearing the amish hat, well im not amish. Once the weather gets nicer here in northeast ohio you might find me playing under the hinsdale arch on campus, as you can tell from the recordings my vocals need alot of work, same with my harmonica, but atleast i can hold my own on the harmonica. I am planning on possibly starting up a blues band here at Hiram, i just need some folk who can play the blues on the guitar and possibly bass guitar, or maybe just some folk who can play the washboard, spoons, and string bass, im up for anything. I am a Biology Major here and i have been playing the oboe since i was in 5th grade. The harmonica is giving me a good release from those many years of classical music training that i had. I now actually have a legitimate reason to be playing the blues, unfortunately i wish i could be attributing my playing to a better situation. On March 2nd I was riding in a car to walmart with my roommate Andy Hopkins and my good friend Grace Chamberlain. A drunk driver swerved into our lane and hit the car. Grace and Andy were both killed in the accident and i was put in the hospital for 6 weeks. I won't be fully recovered until mid summer.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
