About Me

My name is Stevie Wyatt. I am a musician and sound engineer.
I was born in Bahrain and grew up in Manchester, South Wales and London. I currently live in Putney, London but dream of living on a boat one day.
I like to play chess, drink red wine and real ale, and generally enjoy any situation which involves loud music of nearly any kind.
I play guitar in a couple of bands;
The alternative rock band One where we mix up everything from 50's to psychadelic rock'n'roll, to atmospheric indie. This is a new band for me and so far the response has been overwhelming. We have recorded our first EP and are working on further tracks currently and have a whole bunch of gigs coming up from mid Feb.
I also perform with the popular electronic-pop-rock combo Bassboosa having enjoyed some success in the States in 06 and with an album on the way some time soon.
please check out my bands and add them if you like what you hear.

When I'm not playing guitar I work as a freelance live sound engineer. My regular clients include Boy George, Audio Bullys, The Wonder Stuff and Damien Dempsey. I've also worked with The Rolling Stones, Kasabian, Natasha Bedingfield, Nine Black Alps, The Ordinary Boys, Liberty X, Forward Russia, Winnebago Deal and Harry Hill as well as theatrical productions Wicked (West End), Holland Park Opera Festival and Spirit of Broadway (UK tour). I also previously worked as house engineer for the Halfmoon Putney, and Met Bar Mayfair.
I am fortunate enough to be able to fulfill my musical passion/ obsession in not only the bands I'm in, but also in my dayjob as a soundman.
I secretly wish I was a fighter pilot though.
