About Me

Good day! The name is Timothy Farmer (Timmy, Timbo) and I'm going to give you a little inside to my world (and film/music). If you're not patient, don't read. If you're cocky, stop now. If you have something to say, say it to my face (or send me a message). I'll be sure to listen. I'll have a response for you. Promise. Super. Great. Awesome. Carry on! Here it goes...I was 7 when I first picked up the camera and started making movies. Yeah, they were with my friends (and with my brother doin the weather report) but hey, it was fun and I was exposing myself to film at a young age. At the age of 16 I enrolled in the film class offered at Fairport High School and created a film that would later go on to win Best Music Video in the Faiport Film Festival and receive an award for Best Director at the Deden Film Festival. I'm on the judging board for the Rochester Film Festival and I helped out at the Image One Film Festival last year. I was also involved with hospitality for the High Falls Film Festival which takes place in November and will be helping out with the Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles soon. I'm was the president and founder of the Fairport Film Club as well as the president/station manager/founder of the Fairport High School Radio Station (which will be on WBER quite soon). I also used to be a DJ at good old WBER Rochester as well. I was the student director for our high school play "Our Town" as well as the assistant lighting designer and stage manager. I've have worked on other plays and performances such as "Romeo and Juliet", "The Sound of Music", etc. I've worked on such films as DRIVERS WANTED, CHERRY CRUSH, EMO PILL, and a few others that have not been released yet. I also made a in high school which has a cameo in it by Philip Seymour Hoffman (the film is being edited right now and will be out by the end September/October). I've also been named one of the co-producer of the feature film BREAKING BALLS, EMO PILL, and a feature animated film due out next year. I've also helped market such films as 11:59 and IN THE DARK. I've also been named the assistant director for EMO PILL (which was shot in Philadelphia in May) and was also the lead for the film as well (now is getting nationally recognized). I'm currently working on a short film called HOT SAND as well as finishing my feature length script titled THAT'S THE WAY IT IS. I also have tons of other film projects that I'm workin on as well. Just ask! In my spare time (if there is any) I book shows for local bands as well as some well known bands, manage the band called THE HOODIES (www.thehoodies.com) who currently have a record deal in Japan, play piano/drums/guitar, play paintball, jet ski 8383 times a year, staring to learn to surf (key word starting) drive fast cars, take manyz manyz pictures, watch sports from time to time, and tons of other stuff as well. If you wants to knows more about mes, yous gots toos asks! Thanks for takin the time to read. Ta ta!
