Hello!
My name is Cem Andre. I am 23 years old and have recently completed a BA (Hons) at the Academy of Contemporary Music.
I've been playing drums for 13 years and have extensive live and recording experience.
Throughout the years I have played, recorded and studied with some of the finest musicians, including Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), Pete Riley (Republica), Richard Niles, Paul Geary (Liberty X), Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson, Earthworks), Stefan Redtenbacher (Funkestra) and members of Terence Trent D'Arby, Aha and Asia.
Recent professional engagements include musical theatre shows Little Shop Of Horrors (West End), Mephistopholes Smith (Richard O'Brien's), Anything Goes (The Maltings).
Currently I'm recording material with my own band ' The Blow Ups ' for our debut album.
In 2008 I'm also going to be recording drums on the next album by the great Irish singer/songwriter Richard O'Brien .
