I grew up in Las Vegas. After graduation my father offered me a trip to Europe. I went to Italy where I met what I thought was the love of my life. A year after our wedding vows, I realized I had made the biggest mistake of my life. I had left my family in the US to live with a man who was still umbilically attached to his "mother". Seven years later, to save my sanity, I left him. I returned to the US but after seven years of absence I felt I no longer belonged. I returned to Italy where I lived on my own and struggled to keep my old job. Not easy to do when you work under "such nice people". Four years later, I made drastic changes I resigned from the private school (which was long over due) and I remarried a wonderful man. We are very happy together and share our love for travelling, which works out well. :-) Though the spark of living abroad has long vanished,I still live in Italy. I've grown to love and at times hate this country. However,I enjoy teaching children of all ages to speak English. I, occasionally, help adults in keeping their English fluent, too.. I love the wonderful kids I teach. They really keep me going. I miss my family and country terribly. I will, eventually, make it back home when I finish travelling throughout Europe...
