Good people, great musicians, good promoters, great audiences, generous bar staff, the manager of a local pub, and the owner of a local music venue. Oh yes, and a curry house owner. If anybody knows a windmill that's for sale, let me know!Well, since then I've met great musicians and meeting some good promoters. We're friends with Karen and Ade at The Dove in Ipswich and during the summer met fellow cider drinker Nigel who runs The Emperor on Norwich Road in Ipswich. As far as curry houses are concerned, we well know Briar et al at The Thai Orchid in Kings Lynn and becoming regulars at Baipo and Kwan Thai here in Ipswich. It's working this!!!We're, however, still looking for a good East Anglian venue (or venues) to promote gigs in..... and still toying the idea of one day living in a windmill..... First things first. Finding some good venues here - especially those of a rustic and rural nature...
