I love all kinds of music as long as it's played well. Fave all time band is Thin Lizzy who I had the pleasure of seeing live at Manchester Apollo 3 times and I also saw Phil Lynott with Gary Moore at the Apollo play "Out in The Fields", which I have a 7" vinyl live version of and "Parisienne Walkways", a gig I'll always treasure, as Phil Lynott passed away just a few months later. I used to try and write song lyrics although I have never been in a band, can't sing or play anything. I used to go to as many live gigs as I could but now they're too expensive. Other fave things includes watching F1 racing. I'm trying to write a book but it's just a bunch of ideas so a long way off from being finished! No need to rush it is there? I love Stephen King's books, love scaring myself stupid reading horror/scary books and films like Poltergeist, Quatermass and the Pit. Also ghosty stuff does the same. Not very nice when I lived in a haunted flat. Enjoy PS2 and XBox. Another liking I have is for the works of Jack Vettriano, a brilliant Scottish painter. I just love his paintings.

From the stars we came and to the stars we return. To say we are the only planet with intelligent life is so wrong. Who are we to make such an assumption? Each day we discover new and amazing things about our galaxy and the universe as a whole. I know that one day we will make contact with another planet and when we do I hope that we do not react in the way Man has always done when we make a new discovery. "If it's not like us then it must be wrong so lets destroy it." No, don't. Some say Alien lifeforms are already here. Area 51 ring any bells?We are only here for such a fleeting moment in time, yet that in that moment we can achieve so much for the benefit of all. Unfortunatley so many prefer to spend their time benefiting themselves and as a result leave nothing but pain, misery, suffering and death behind. Sorry but I can't live like that. I believe we can get along together without fighting, trading insults, causing each other pain. I understand and accept everyone one of us is different. I mean, just how boring would it be if we were all the same? What I'm trying to say is just because I have a different outlook on life, a different spiritual belief it doesn't make me any lesser person than someone who has totally different ideals. I do have to say though that most of the time I find TV boring. The worst offenders are reality tv programmes, definitely tv for the brain dead. I look at books the same way I look at music. There's so many different types, why just stick with one or two? I've read and in some cases re-read books by many different authors. Anthony Horowitz, Benjamin Zephaniah, Charles Dickens, Cliff McNish, Clive Barker, Diana Wynne Jones, JK Rowling, JRR Tolkien, Jules Verne, Kenneth Grahame, Michelle Magorian, Philippa Pearce, William Nicholson. I have also read biographies and autobiographies of JK Rowling, Lemmy, Murray Walker, Phil Lynott, Prof. Sid Watkins. Authors I should read include Bram Stoker, Bronte, Mary Shelley, William Shakespeare, Thomas Hughes.
