"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him." - Psalm 28:7
Here is a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I am a husband, a father of four and a grandfather of five. All Girls. God is good. Back in 1991 I suffered a disabilitating injury and found myself wallowing in self pity and growing more and more depressed. Then one day I reached for my Bible and started to read, and I was totally consumed. Shortly after I had thrown myself into my passion of music. and started to write. I recorded an album called Set The Table in 1997 and I am working on finishing up my second one now. I know it's been quite awhile, but In-between the two I have had various projects. I performed on a local telethon on the prayer channel, and written music for a six part show on the Life of Christ. appeared on a Catholic talk show, sang at my church during the Sunday morning service with The Young Adults Choir formed by myself and John Rodriguez. Led the music at a Charismatic prayer group at St. Pancreas, in Queens and also performed with Catholic recording artist Michael Zabrocki. I also am very proud to be the founding father of a Christian Vocal group called Voices That Blend (A name that actually was going to be the name of my second album that's another story, maybe for a blog one day.) The idea came to me after a conversation I had with a friend and fellow musician after a charismatic service. We've had the pleasure of singing not only here in NY, but in NO as well, we also sang the national anthem at Key Span Park home of the Brooklyn Cyclones before the game. I am happy to have had the pleasure of recording 2 albums with them. They are still going strong but I found myself being called in a different direction. I am currently attending The Bible Inst. and looking forward to the future and performing again with the release of my new album. I will update as I can.
