We realize that most independent artists and groups face the "PAY TO PLAY" situation when booking with venues. AIA has designed a platform for the independent artists to perform without the worries of paying to play live. This process of selecting artists and groups is strictly up to the fans. We believe it's time the fans get what they want, and the artists get an opportunity to do what they do best, perform! There will be several concert series throughout the year, and the venues will be selected in three different regions nationally.AIA VOLUNTEER ARMY: The Association of Independent Artists is searching for interested musicians, and fans that would like an opportunity to become personally involved in what we do in a true collaborative effort. Volunteers are needed in several different areas of service. We ask that you take this opportunity to become a part of our family, and together we will assist the independent artists and groups with the exposure they deserve. Please direct your questions and comments to us as soon as possible. Please include "I want to Volunteer" in the subject line of your email. THANKS2007 AIA AWARDS: Thats right, you heard it here! The Association of Independent Artists will host the 2007 AIA awards. To us, it's all about putting the independent artist in the spotlight! Selected artists will have an opportunity to shine and show the world your talent. We will be announcing the date and location in a special press release so stay tuned.Supporting the AIA: We feel that word of mouth is our vehicle to building the worlds largest independent union of musicians! We rely on you to spread the word as we make this a combined effort in helping the indie artist achieve maximum exposure.
