About Me

About me? Hmmm, where should I start? Well, I was raised to be a very independent person and that I definitely am. I'm currently a fulltime student in my third year of college studying Secondary English Education. I also have a fulltime job at Newton Memorial Hospital in the evenings so it doesn't interfere with school. I have wonderful friends that are there for me through thick and thin and I wouldn't trade them in for anything in the world. I have an absolutely gorgeous neice, Kaylee-Rae Angel, who I love dearly, and love seeing her grow up into a beautiful little girl. I love playing softball, choreography, playing the piano, selling and buying on Ebay, spending time with those I love, bleeping my friends (LOL), partying in moderation, and of course, meeting up with friends that I haven't seen in ages over myspace! I have some pet peeves, but doesn't everyone? Some of my most prominent pet peeves are when people have hoodies on and the hoods are inside out...that bothers me A LOT! Another one is grammar and language...when people are talking or writing, I can catch errors like a sore thumb because that is how well they stick out to me and I HAVE to correct it LOL, woah, sometimes I think I might be a little compulsive about it! lol, hehe. Everyone has their quirks, right? Let's see, there are also things that I can't stand...and some things I hate are liars, fakes, drama queens and that CAN mean males, too..., nosy bodies, and brown nosers. Can't stand those kinds! My Interests

Hmmm, my interests? Well, there's quite a few...but just to keep it simple let's go with the basics...I'm interested in good food, shopping, teaching, singing, playing softball, partying with my friends, of course, and BEING ME!

Music:

I love all music. I will listen to whatever moves me. I can listen to wordless Mozart, gangster rap, smooth R&B, pop or heavy metal...as long as it moves me, I'm listening to it...I am a very open minded person when it comes to music.

Movies:

American History X is a definite favorite...or any movies with Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughan, and Will Farrell are definitely funny movies. Gia was awesome...anything with Angelina Jolie in it is def worth seeing... .. .. .... .. .... .. .. ..

Television:

I'm not a die-hard fan of TV, however, when I do peak over at the television as I'm doing homework on the computer, I don't mind if the following TV shows are on: Girlfriends, Dr. 90210, Law and Order: SVU, COPS, Reno 911, Dave Chappelle, and That 70's Show and of course Dog Bites Man, that show is hilarious! I love comedy, so if it's funny, I'm there. Discovery Health channel is pretty interesting, too. I have to be in the mood for it though.

Books:

A Child Called It, Privilege of Youth, A Man Named Dave all written by Dave Pelzer who also is the main character in the book. He tells his true life story about how he was seriously abused while growing up. He had a emotionally disturbed mother that we hope never is allowed to bear children again. Dave Pelzer's case was one of the most extreme of his time in the state of California. I have yet to read Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. I've heard great reviews about those and I can't wait to read them.

Heroes:

One of my very best lady friends....Patti Neis is one of my heroes. Not only has she been through hell and back, but she came out of all of it ten times stronger. Whenever I need advice, she is the best candidate for me to go to. She is liberal, laid back, and extremely smart. She should have been a lawyer...better yet, she is her own lawyer. Another one of my heroes is Kiernan Juliano...I work with her and she is just amazingly funny. She has been a trooper through problems that I can't even imagine going through myself. She has a very strong, sensible personality and is always making me laugh. She is one of my heroes... Of course, my mom is one of my heroes, too. Without her, I wouldn't be here! I love you MOM!
