My Interests

I love to spend time with my husband and son, read, sing, listen to music, play my guitar, go for rides in the car, bird watching, travel, go to the beach, spend time with my friends and family, and watch TV.

I'd like to meet:

My old friends from Stratford High School (in Connecticut), Eckerd College, The New Directions, from Burlington, North Carolina, and anyone else that knows me.

Music:

I have a wide variety of music that I like. I'm really into 80's music, because that's what I grew up with in high school and college, but I listen to alternative, ambient, rock, heavy metal, classical, pop, and some hip hop/rap.

Movies:

Labyrinth, When Harry Met Sally, "Valley Girl, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Shawshank Redemption, The Stand, The Color Purple, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Being There, I, Claudius, Like Water for Chocolate, Chocolat, Bridgett's Feast.

Television:

Extreme Makeover, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, gardening shows on HGTV, cooking shows on Food Network.

Books:

I love ANYTHING by Nora Roberts/JD Robb, Terry Brooks, Jan Karon, the Left Behind series, Sara Donati, Diane Galbaldon, Sidney Sheldon, Jasmine Cresswell, Karen Kingsbury, Jeanette Oake, Debbie Macomber. Heroes:

My heroes are my parents, who are just awesome! They are the ones that have made me the person that I am today. They correct me gently when I need it and for that I am stronger. They are my friends. People that do for others without thanks. Those are the people that do for others, not because they can afford to, but because they can't afford not to.
