About Me

Well, how are you today? Thanks for stopping by my page, for whatever reason it may be, abstract, mistakingly, or by the Vulcan death grip of faith (or Google)! Where do I start? I purchase too damn many sneakers and jeans. Every pair I get, it's the last pair. I work in a fast paced, never resting, tech-edge work environment that allows me to practice my ever-growing computer skills. From network security, object oriented programming (Ruby at the moment), to full blow system integration and administration, this is what usually fills my task buffer day to day. Once I leave work I usually like to catch whatever sports game is playing, whether it be basketball or American football, I'm a huge fan of both and love catching highlights on sports center. More than often I like to doodle in my brewed studio and drop glitch-hop/IDM tracks. If I can't think of something to write, I will open up vim (yes gvim xemacs) and write custom audio synthesizers using raw DSP sockets. If I'm not up for coding, I may grab a soldering station, some solder, random potentiometers and diodes and crack open an old toy from the 80s, hot-wire/cross-wire/short-circuit it and create a synthesizer that way. When I'm not up for making music at all, I will definitely listen to it. From the way I reflect an image, whatever that means, I've been noted not to look like the person that contains the play-list that I seem to mustard up so easily. So above all that, and foremost, I like friendship, the kind of friendship that is unbreakable, under any circumstance. I'm not the type that looks for a back scratch if I scratch yours, nor do I understand hidden agendas. I love my friends, and I don't have to wonder if I'm loved back... my friends are my friends for a reason. So when I'm not doing any of the above, when free time slaps me in the face, I love to play pool (or billiards). I'm a 9-ball kind of guy, or no pocket carom is 2nd on my list, as long as the tables heated. I take it kind of serious and pretty much dislike casual games. I rifle a custom made phillippi cue, that I'm very fond of. If I'm not in the pool hall and free time is still hurting me, I like to scoop up my skateboard and skip to the beach (The north pacific ocean is viewable from my apartment complex) and cruise a few blocks down to the Venice skatepark and pop a few tricks. I despise video games, but for some odd reason I have a ps2 and a new ps3. Back when tony hawk pro skater was still more like skateboarding (part 4), I was ranked in the top 10 worldwide... so on that note, I still hate video games, unless I am really good at them, and they have something to do with sports. :) Moving on, one can do much greater things with the time they use wasting away pushing buttons for a video game, like reading a book. I love to read books and I love to talk about writing a book or two. I have two books in the making, which I will drop information on within a later focal point of time. Everything is on pause at the moment while I digress and study learning Japanese. Did I mention I'm part Japanese? Yes, my father looks it, and I look like my father, but I don't look Japanese... go figure. :) On that note, I guess I'll mention I have a huge fascination with Science and Biology (Experimental). If for some reason computers all had a life threatening, non reversible virus that destroyed them all, and all attempts at creating new ones, I would move my focus more towards, if not totally towards Experimental Biology. I have a crush on Cephalopods and all of the information regarding the species I can get my hands on. So as this dialog box gets enormous in size, I will wrap things up. Hit me up on aim if you want to know anything else. :)
