Todd Riffel founded the roots of Stereocell in 1994. It was in the Maui surf of Hawaii that the seeds of rock and roll stardom were planted and by 1996 Todd was heavily immersed in the Hollywood scene. The group emerges, steady and strong in 2006, as Stereocell.The powerful result fuses a pastiche of musical sounds and vibrations, sure to coat the mind and senses. The sound of Stereocell maintains a rebellious soul that comes from the lifestyle of its founders: surf, sex, love, life, and war.Described only as an eclectic mélange of the Deftones, Foo Fighters, Tool, the Doors, the Beatles, Bob Marley, and even Slayer; the music of Stereocell remains smart and original. It is also a sound that can best be appreciated live, as the energy and drive of the band is truly conveyed when on stage.
