Ana Rey

Welcome everybody ;) My name is Ana Rey and I have been singing since I was a child. I started singing at home songs of my favourite artists and I sang for first time in front a huge audience at the age of 12. Then I started to sing at local music festivals and contests doing covers. I loved being on stage and I still do. At the age of 18 I had won a lot of contests and I got signed to an important management company.
As any other artist, my dream always was recording my first album and I really thought I was going to get it when I became part of a girl band. We were singing around and we finally got a record deal with a major record company. The project was cancelled a few months later because of some personal problems with our manager and we wanted to leave his management. Then he told us we were going nowhere because we had a contract for 4 years with him. He didnt let us go and he didnt let us sing in any public place. It was a really bad time till we got our contract broken...
A few months later, I won a national BMG contest where I had to sing some Christina Aguilera´s song for her spanish promo. I went to Madrid and I did interviews for TV, radio and some magazine and it was great if I forget about the blond hair lol Actually, I love Christina so I was really proud of winning that contest :)
After that, I kept singing and got my own website and fanclub but I decided to close it for some reasons a year later. I have sung in a lot of places in Spain and also in some boat races in Florida, USA. I havent had the chance to record anything in studio yet because of the money so all my recordings are home recordings. I know they dont sound good enough but thats the best i can do with a cheap mic and my computer at home :( I hope you like them though :)
I have written a few songs and I hope to record them someday soon. Thanks to all my friends and all the people supporting me. You are the best! Love you all!
