Getawaycab is an indie rock band consisting of four guys who share an interest in trying to make the best
music they can. The resulting music is a mixture of simple and complex, quiet and loud, energetic and melodic.
The band was formed in Kauhajoki, Finland in 2002 by Henri, Tuomo and Juuso. Their first EP, Sleep Forever, was
released in summer 2004, after which the line-up came to its current form as Iiro joined in.
The second EP, Dancing with Thieves, came out in September 2006, suprising the band with the warm welcome it
received!
Someone might have heard their music on the radio, or in TV shows such as CapturedTV, Extreme Duudsonit or Frontside3 and having already played over 50 gigs all over Finland, Getawaycab continues playing live enthusiastically, enjoying
the ride and the people they meet on the way. At the moment the band is composing new material and everything is looking
mighty fine!
