Or to read more about the upcoming world premiere production of my play here in LA, Salsa Saved The Girls, click on the Salsa link under my friends, or you can subscribe to get tasty treats of the play at blog.myspace.com/SalsaSavedTheGirls. As a playwright, my one act play, Drink Up Baby, was selected as a semi-finalist at PlayLabs at the Playwrights Center in Minneapolis. Two of my full-lengths, Salsa Saved The Girls and The Color of Ice, were both selected as winners of the Skirball Mckennis award. My short stories have been published in Merlyns Pen, the Monologue Shop, the Salt River Review, and Columbia College Hair Trigger 21 & 22. I studied film at the School of Visual Arts in NY, received a BFA in fiction writing from Columbia College Chicago, and an MFA in playwriting at UCLA. I've worked as an assistant editor on F Magazine, a literary magazine run by novelist Don De Grazia, and as a writer's assistant script doctoring screenplays.
