About Me

I need more sleep. Except I really don't, but that doesn't stop me from trying to get it. I'm always tired, all the time.
I also have the uncanny ability to fall asleep anywhere. Ask my roommates. Or anyone, really, who has lived with me at any point in my life. Sometimes, with a cat on top of me. Sometimes I just go to a mall or something and then I feel better being around so many people. It's like their energy rubs off on me.
I like food, and eating it. Not so much cooking it. I can, though. I can make...macaroni and cheese. And ice. Mostly I just get takeout, or the dreaded "Moody food" which Shakespeare's Cleopatra seems to want, but no one else does.
I'm a political science geekface. Don't mind me as I rant about the role of politics and the media, or interpretive democratic elements of non-American news networks. Just hit me upside the head and I'll stop, usually.
My favorite hockey team is the Toronto Maple Leafs, for no good reason. I just like them. But really, who needs a reason? They're the Leafs, and they ROCK! Even when they suck they rock.
My favorite slam poet is Tabitha Humphrey.
I generally like people...unless they piss me off. I like live music unless it sucks. Unless it sucks really badly, in which case I also love it. But only to laugh at it.
My friends tell me that I should just move to Canada and have done with it, because I like the music and the culture so much. Though seriously? Vampirates is awesome.
I'm comfortable in darkness and light, metaphorically and physically. I'm cheerful but sometimes it's purely sarcastic. I wield bad puns like a saber.
