You know "The Type".......

About Me

Hey! We're Nomad 67, a young 3 piece band from rural Worcestershire! We consist of Guitarist/Vocalist Jay Lawson-Pearce, Drummer/Vocalist "Big" Dave Small who joined us in March 2007 and Bass-Man Dan Underwood who joined us in March 2008 (Hmm, starting to see a correlation here!?).
We aren't fully sure how to describe our music but if we were put in a life threatening situation to describe it, we would probably say we play Alternative Rock/ Punk with aload of different influences. Some of our influences include: The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Queens of The Stone Age, loads more musical artists, anything you can see/feel/hear and maybe even a bit of Rod Stewart (the last 2 are not, we repeat ARE NOT the same thing!).
We formed roughly 3 years ago and have played gigs across the UK in various venues such as Birmingham Carling Academy, Birmingham Barfly and loads of other venues including some in London. We have also played venues festivals across Europe including some in Holland and in Switzerland.
We will be recording a new album in a matter of months and it will become our first full-release on an indie label! So make sure you keep an eye out for future Nomad 67 updates!
Thanks for dropping by and make sure do it again sometime soon!
Jay 67, Dave 67 and Dan 67.

Sounds Like: "Big, nasty guitars play off against some surprisingly tuneful melodies on this muscular punk workout. More Nirvana than Rancid, it’s a good, dirty pop record." - Overplay.com record industry judges panel on "The Type."
