It's pretty simple: I'm a musician. I sing, write and play. What usually comes out is an oddly refreshing mixture of folk, jazz, and discombobulation.
I'm currently studying music at Mott Community College, where I learn about it textually and pretend that I know how to play jazz piano (which is a lot harder than it should be for someone who has been playing classically for eleven years). One of these days I'm going to transfer to a university. Then I can be one of those cool musicians who actually have a degree.
In the meantime, I continue to surprise, disappoint, and please myself with the words and notes, strings and keys that I manage to fenangle and tangle and weave together. If you want to know what I mean, take a listen yourself.
