The Sound started off as an idea in early 2002. Actually i never knew there was a such thing like a gospel dj or sound system. With no experience whatsoever I did a 30 minute mix on cassette/tape that same week. i sent it out to my friends and it starting circulating. Later during that month i was offered a CD. One of my friends told me that "This is similar to what you did". When i listened to it realise that what i thought didn't exist actually exists. It was the TM Crew Sound System from the island of Trinidad & Tobago. As the years passed by i learned of more gospel sound systems around the world. Some of them - Evangelist Int'l Sound System (Canada), His Majesty's Sound System (UK), Regis Sound System (Barbados) and so on. Knowing of the existance of these sounds made me more confident with myself and in my ministry.
