Band Members: Cha Cho, Kevin, Marmaduke, Old Hill Walker and Me... Alfie. Give a shout out to the band members, they're in my top friends list. They kick ass and I couldn't have a better team, the chemestry is like family and it comes across in the live preformance. Thanks Roadhouse Band, you Rock My World!
Influences: Anyone who can write a "Great Song". Sounds easier then it is. All Guitar Gods(mainly Chet Atkins, Hendrix, Van Halen, Steve Vai, Jason Becker), American acoustic song writers(mainly Hank Williams Sr., Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Dave Mathews), Progressive bands/rockers(King Krimson, Frank Zappa, Rush, Chick Corea, Meshuggah), Bluegrass(mainly Flatt & Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Alison Krauss & Union Station, The Del McCoury Band), The Beatles, Black Sabath, 70's music(mainly rock, pop, funky stuff), Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, Sublime, any music that has a great Vibe and can change the air in a room. acoustic/rock/blues/jazz/vocals/instrumentals.
Sounds Like: Guitar orientated Power Pop. Eric Clapton, Nuno Bettencourt, Paul Gilbert, Phishlike at times. Alfie's Roadhouse sounds like almost every mood you have, all wrapped up in one c.d. I think it sounds like a c.d. I did for my own enjoyment and reasons and that's precisely what it is, Alfie's Roadhouse is some songs I'd always played for my own enjoyment and friends. It's a collection of a few songs that I had to get out of my head so I could have room comfortably for new ones. Plus I felt the time was right, I learned alot about myself producing this c.d, I learned alot about my weaknesses as well as my stregnth's(some of which I didn't even know I possessed). I'm very thankful and put alot of love into my music, may it come across to the listener. Thank You Friends. ~Alfie.
