About Me

Motormouthmedia is a full-service, boutique PR firm specializing in fabulous music. Diverse and flexible, our five-person team handles various music genres (indie-rock, hip-hop, electronic, film/DVD, reissues, singer-songwriters, funk/soul) and is connected and respected at all levels of the media. We offer full tour press services and project/label consulting. In from 2005-2008 Motormouth worked with artists such as Animal Collective, Beirut, Black Mountain, Sunset Rubdown, Jamie Lidell, Cass McCombs, Fuck Buttons, Yeasayer, Joanna Newsom, Thievery Corporation, Four Tet, Caribou, Out Hud, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Juana Molina, Bebel Gilberto, cLOUDEAD, Danielson, Junior Boys, Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss, Her Space Holiday and 13+God among others. Motormouth also works closely with Universal Music Enterprises and has spearheaded multiple press campaigns on large-scale reissue projects from Nirvana, DJ Shadow, Johnny Cash, Sonic Youth, U2, No Doubt, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson and Bob Marley among others. Historically, the company has worked with artists such as Blackalicious, Antibalas, Busdriver, Dr. Octagon, Jamie Lidell, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Apples in Stereo, East River Pipe, Plastalina Mosh, Sly & Robbie, Coldcut, The Dust Brothers and more.
