I am always singing along, if not dancing too...at home, and even in the car. If I only had a dollar for every comment from some who has seen me be-bopping while I'm driving...lol!! I love to sing,dance,write poetry and lyrics,and play my electric guitar!!Music heals all wounds and never leaves you! It simply sustains me, gives me an outlet, whether listening or creating it. Lyrics and songs always mean alot to me, and every day of my life I associate some song with my personal feelings at the moment. Its like living and hearing a real movie soundtrack within my own life...Sound Crazy?...oh well, I've been told that too...doesnt bother me a bit!I have three great kids...Shannon 21, Christopher almost 17 and my little Nick just 6! Without my kids there'd prolly be no sense in living. I also have a gorgeous 21 mo. old granddaughter Sarah...my first! And I have a fine husband who is in recovery from alcohol and who will go to any lengths to help anyone who wants what he has(sobriety)He carries the message even into the prisons, just in case there is that person there that is ready for the seeds of recovery to be planted. I am so proud of him and how far he has come. We have a long,long road ahead of us tho in our marriage, as well as our individual selves, as many of my friends and family know, and sometimes I fear we may not survive.My friends...my friends are so VERY important to me! I love them so much, and have learned that I need to LISTEN becuz there always seems to be a friend with that lift that I need and that just right thing to share with me when I need it. I love meeting new ppl, both girls and guys, young and old, all races, from all over the world! One of the coolest things I discovered about the internet is how you can commune with all parts of the world in a single click! And the way I see it, friends old and new enrich my life more than anything else possible...besides spirituality.I am TERRIBLY shy, but recently have been told I have become "outgoing" heehee...I didnt even notice the change! I am learning that I MUST say what I want, do what I want, and someday go where my heart leads me. This new mentality has been the source of both good things as well as trouble in my life during the past year, but I need to plow ahead with it becuz I know it is what I must do. My life was given to me to enjoy.Some of my ideas of a great time are hearing Shoot the Moon or other bands live, and dancing my heart out! I have said it a million times...I hope I die dancing! If I cant get out to see them, then any music will do!! And I LOOOVE to drive...FAAASST! All in all I jus love to have fun...and I guess sometimes I act alittle too reckless...dont know why...dont CARE to know...its jus how I am developing as I get older. I dont want to die and have any regrets about the fun I could have had, and the things I could have done and experienced, and the life I could have enjoyed. I am becomming extreme in all things I do...is that good or bad? IDK...but I am becomming ACUTELY aware of the passing of time and my own mortality. I love to garden(no gloves-hands gotta feel the earth), camp, hike, read magazines... I love the sounds of nature, seagulls, ppl chopping wood, birdsongs, windchimes, rain, thunder,grass being mowed,my childrens laughter. I LOVE weather, like thunderstorms, windstorms etc, and I LOVE walking in the rain. I love all the animals of the planet...yes girls, even snakes and spiders. I am slowly trying to live more "green"... I strive to be one with the earth. Not saying I am becomming a flowerchild or anything, but, thats kinda how I feel inside.I am a licensed practical nurse, and worked nearly 12 years on the nightshift with the elderly. I am now a Bayada Nurse, and will start pediatric homecare as soon as an appropriate case for me presents itself. I know I will find the needed change refreshing and rewarding.I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in Aug. 2007 and am still working my way through it and smiling despite the discomfort. Antibiotics in large continuous doses helped alot and I'm so much better, but its still there, and some days it scares me how I feel. I hope to bring awareness about Lyme Disease to my little corner of the world. It is now an epidemic and the public has been ill-informed about it. Do a little research for yourself for the sake of your family and friends.Some things I dislike?... predjuduce, cruelty, wastefulness, jealousy. I believe everyone should be accepted for who they truly are, whether it be black or white, straight or gay, or whatever the case!! One of the saddest things I can imagine is ppl needing to hide their true selves from others because of narrow-minded judgements. I am against abortion and capitol punishment, so if you "dont wanna hear it" then dont bring it up!2007 was a year of happenings, changes, falling down, getting up, and rich self-discovery. So far 2008 has been pretty much the same for me as well, but I know my day in the sun is coming! I have set my sights on some goals of self-improvement for starters, and working out daily at the gym has been helping me immensely. I also have financial goals, and a goal in 2010 to make the trip to Ireland that I have wanted since I was a wee little Irish lassie ;) All in all, I am a rich,sensitive girl, who will never "be" old, who loves to laugh, and is game for any adventure. Like I said...you only live once!!
