(see "About Me")= i.e., real characters (the self-creating, not the "sheeple"), Life (...the-meaning-of, etc.), personal histories (i.e., what makes people tick), "the hidden", the magickal, dabbling in "occult" traditions (a.k.a, "inner space"), artists doing art, musicians doing music (lately, very much Spanish music), writers doing words, people who think for themselves, i.e., any good conversation (..this is hard to find, but 've been lucky); still talking/playing w/ my kitty Meisha-Moo after work, hanging-out w/ my circle of groovy/unique friends (which is still expanding): i.e., my favorite conversationalists/speculators/skoffers/blasphemers, the whole gumbo of babbling wordplay/opinions/& viewpoints; getting into the backwoods, hiking/camping, w/ campfires, skinny-dipping, tree-hugging, etc.; an occassional live band/play/performance, & all the social hoo-ha w/ its pretenses/pagentry---dressing up in might-as-well-be-costumes, w/ hundreds of colorful strangers (clubs/bars/shows: you get the picture)= am not that "public" a character, but it's good to get *out* into the lights/noise/madness every-so-often; most recently, being the Moderator for the myspace group (641 members & growing!!) that Kool-Aid Wino & I started, "Dos Gringos Nuevos": the group has given me an amazing opportunity to meet new, cool folks, & to continue on our mission of spreading the gospel of very cool Rock en Espanol, & hopefully opening some minds & making our world a bigger, more colorful place.
For a soul mate?: someone funny (good if not slightly-twisted sense of humor), intellegent, conversational (talking about life, the univesre, everything), doses of the unconventional is cool ("eccentric" is a good thing, as is non-conformist, but am not opposed to healthy doses of main-streamity, b/c we all live in a fairly mainstream universe), a fan of music, w/ a dose of sarcasm or a dose of cynicism (but no pessimists, please), someone w/ dreams but also grounded in mundane reality, & basically, any good company to share this bemusing adventure we call life.
Non-famous (well, all my current friends are famous to me)?:
anyone in the ball-park of topics covered in this profile: any Individual is cool, in some way, in my book; am always seeking a good/meaningful/intelligent conversation.Dead?: Aleister Crowley, William S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsburg, Neal Cassidy, Charles Bukowski, Joshua Ben Joseph, Siddartha Gutama, Frieda Kahlo, Salvador Dali, Dion Fortune, Timothy Leary, Friedrich Nietzsche, Terrence McKenna, Lenny Bruce, E. E. Cummings, River Phoenix (too pretty to die so stupid), (...& Kurt Cobain, but just for a few questions..., yeah, same true for Tim McVeigh---"talkin' bout my generation");
Live?: Wayne Coyne, Robert Anton Wilson, Hunter S. Thompson, Art Bell, Antero Alli, Bruce Cambell, & Stephen Hawking (...but only if could get a telepathic link= the vo-coder thing'd freak me out after a few min.s)
