Tough Love was discovered in the summer of 2005 in Coventry and has released several records by several bands.
Who cares who the individuals are that make up Tough Love? Tough Love isn't a vanity project. Tough Love is more than the sum of its parts. In many respects, Tough Love is similar to Marshall BraveStarr. Tough Love is the cowboy; the medium through which the powers, skills and savvy of a host of beasts and birds is compounded into a totemic whole:
Eyes of the Hawk
Ears of the Wolf
Strength of the Bear
Speed of the Puma
Much like BraveStarr, Tough Love has it’s own Techno Horse. It is called Disco Drive.
Despite strained similes, this life isn’t a Space Western.
Tough Love would like to meet people who like the records they have released. Tough Love is anti-cool, which is cool, which is a conflict of interests. Tough Love believes that the people that buy records, share music and attend gigs are as important as musicians. This is not a punk rock derived manifesto.
