Funk manouver is Steven Wright, a dj/producer from Glasgow, Scotland - in the UK.
Steven has built up a wealth of experience dj'ing in Glasgows bars and clubs over the last 6 years, playing in more than 15 of the top venues both in the city centre and also playing the venues on the outskirts of Glasgow. He loves nothing more than to send a crowd home with that feelgood smile still stretched across their faces!
His style is house - from soulful vocal disco to jazzy to full on funky.
On the production side, Steven was part of a combo called project 73 for nearly 3 years, enjoying success with their tracks, from here in the UK, all the way to the White Ilse itself!
He now works from his home studio under the guise of Funk manouver, and has recently done remix work for D6 records and MofoHifi records. Currently Steven is working on several projects including a collaberation with fellow Glaswegian producer - Jim 'Stereofunk' McGeachan. He has also signed a track to the excellent Reelgroove records, feat. Amaya Amaya on vocals - which can also be heard on the latest 'Housexy' compilation: Summer in the city.
