I (Andreas) had been trying to get Ulf to understand that he had absolutely nothing to lose, he and I just had to make music together. After about six months of me constantly talking about it, he caved and we recorded new versions of some old songs of mine, one of them was "assholes". Shortly after that session we did our first gig. It was at a party in an old outhouse.
We werent sure about wether or not there was electricity in the building, so Ulf suggested I shold bring my megaphone. Instant success!
Happy with our newfound confidence we wrote some new songs together, recorded them and wrote more songs and did several more gigs.
By then we both thaught that something needed to be done about the naked frailty of just a banjo and a voice, we needed an electric guitar.
The persuasion of Jonathan was over in under a week, and what a band we are now! The sound is not yet fixed and propably never will be but Im getting more and more certain that weve found something really good...
