Work usually keeps me busy. I don't like going out to bars much. Mainly becasue they charge 6 dollars for a bud light. If you charged someone 6 bucks for a cold beer back in Oklahoma there'd be a fight......what else? Oh, and I make things. I build sets, take pictures, play with wood, and build furniture. The new Grizzly Bear album "Yellow House" is one of the most lush, brilliant albums I've ever heard. The Knife album is really good.I've also been listening to alot of new stuff out of Nashville like Jeff Zentner, Ghostfinger, and Old Crow Medicine Show. I really love some good ol' fashioned country music....Waylon Jennings, Crystal Gayle, David Alan Coe, Merle Haggard, Eddie Rabbit, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Earl Tubbs, the judds, terri gibbs, conway twitty, dolly parton, anne murray, Ed Bruce, Juice Newton, john anderson, johnny cash, willy nelson, and lots of bluegrass. especially old bluegrass from the turn of the century and some mid-century stuff like Roscoe Holcomb, Mabelle Carter, Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson .Any kind of country music you can imagine(except that new "pop" country shit that keeps getting put out), Grizzly Bear, Kings of Leon(some Oklahoma boys!), Shiny Toy Guns(http://www.myspace.com/shinytoyguns I do all their photos), Tim Buckley, Eagles of Deathmetal, The Kills, Loretta Lynn.....ic rock like early stones, jefferson airlplane, eagles, shocking blue, the doors, the zombies, mammas and the pappas, old elton john, led zepplin, CCR, Rush, T-Rex, moody blues, heart, the kinks....and the EARLY beegees...not that disco shit they made. Some other new stuff on rotation is Junior Boys, Sparklehorse, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Peter Bjorn and John, Brightblack Morning Light, J.Tillman, and The Sleepy Jackson.
