The Part-Time Signals

Mon the Signals!!

About Me

The Part-Time Signals are a 5-piece indie rock band from Glasgow. It all began in 2004 under the name Amplitude, only 3 of the members from Amplitude remain in the band Brian Jamieson, Michael Brewer and Steven Farquharson. Andy Chrstie and David Drummond later joined and the band was renamed 'The Part-Time Signals' taken from a roadsign found near Stathclyde Park in Glasgow. The band draw inspiration from a number of genres and era's, from present day indie rock to 70's and 80's classic rock. Up to now the band have played and headlined various Glasgow Venues such as ABC2, Barfly, The Renfrew Ferry, The Vale, Box, Capitol and Fury Murry's. And an appearance at last years Emergenza final at the Carling Academy has the bands confidence soaring. In 2008 the band hopes to continue their good progress and harness their ability to produce edgy, atmospheric rock records.
