About Me

Im the poor righteous teacher! Not really poor but it sounds good! Ive been doing this teaching thing since 1991 and Im not tired yet! First at IS 59 and now at IS 231.I've been told that Im the funniest teacher alive but I also keep it real with the students! I love my family and of course my God! He has blessed me with this wonderful life and this joy I have is available to all of my friends! I wouldn't trade my life for nothing!To all my ex students, always remember that I was the one who spoke truth and only wanted/wants you to reach your destiny that God has for you! GOSPEL, Smooth Jazz, Old school Rap! That down south rap is WACK!!!!

Movies:

My favorite of all times is the original Blues Brothers! Then movies like Silence of the Lambs, The Blair Witch Project(which I saw on its opening night before all the hype about it, and I thought it was a true story!), Bamboolzed, Seven, The Usual Suspects, Cotton Comes to Harlem, Owning Mahoney, Amistad, Mississippi Burning, Black Ceaser, Super Fly just for the soundtrack! Also Belly and Sugar Hill! The Curse of the Golden Flower, Almost all old school SciFi movies especially horror movies, and all Bruce Lee movies.

Television:

CSI, Pardon the Interuption, The Office, The Unit, The Wire, Sportscenter, Local News

Books:

Autobiography of Malcolm X, The 40 Million Dollar slave, Queens Reigns Supreme, Cop Shot, Impact of a Vow, and of course the Holy Bible

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, my Parents and all of the African American slaves who escaped slavery or died trying! Also all of the brothers and sisters who were killed supporting the cause for equality!
