You could say that my God-path is like an eclectic gumbo soup in that I was born a Baptist in Paterson, NJ but raised in a Pentecostal church C.O.O.L.J.C. or aka Greater Bethel Church of Christ. From there I had the awesome privilege to do some freelance-like ministry where I could execute a Christian foundation and fundamentals in a new field..Long Island, NY. I understood that I was under assignment and it was God who orchestrated occasional assignment shifts! I went on to partner for nearly 4 yrs with a couple who started a ministry from their home. I saw God grow, mature and prosper that work into a church! It was an experience I shall never forget! Later back in Jersey I visited a local C.O.G.I.C. church not 10 min from home (which when you consider the long hike to Heampstead..this was a welcomed change)and the climate there was of a temperature that I was familiar with. I was made welcome and began to share there too. I didn’t know that God was about to flex His muscles and have me watch Him at work!! After some encouragement from friends I accepted an invitation to the state choir rehearsal and after met the woman who would later become Mrs. Webb (and get this, she not only would have some paralled passions but PLAY DA ORGAN TOO)(God has a sense of humor). I love her, I love her, I love her!!
I’m pushing 40 and the total ministry yrs span 35. Pray for us earnestly as WE are now on assignment and the best has not yet been seen nor heard!
Always Remember Jesus,
Min. Clifton D. Webb
