SKINNY PUPPY,
not only one of the most influencial bands in the industrial/electronic body music scene but probably the owners of the largest sample database ever assembled by a band.
Classic movies ( The Texas Chainsaw Massacre , The Trip ,...), T.V.-series (The Twilight Zone, The Outher Limits,...), shocking ..aries and excentric figures like Timothy Leary or Ronald Reagan: all found their place in Skinny Puppy's music.
Besides breaking boundaries in music with each release they also kept on developing the visual aspect of their work, during live performances and with their promotional videos. The most infamous result was the Worlock video, basicly a compilation of clips from various horror- and splatterfilms.
Due the graphic violence it was immediatly banned and never officialy released but for your viewing pleasure, after a visit to the better videostore, a selection of the used movies:

Skinny Puppy, Download and Jim Van Bebber
Teamed up with Jim Van Bebber, who also directed the Spasmolytic video, Skinny Puppy took a further dive into the audiovisual art.
That collaboration also resulted to the short movie Chunkblower in which Dwayne R. Goettel (besides composing the soundtrack with companion cEvin Key) gave us a stunning acting performance.
Unfortunatly this project also never saw the light of day but the trailer can be watched on Skinny Puppy's Digital Brap CD, the DVD release of Van Bebbers Deadbeat At Dawn (also included is the Spasmolytic video) and right HERE:
The other victim: Wilhelm Schroder, better known as Bill Leeb, who started Front Line Assembly after his short carreer as a Puppy recycled some fragments of Chunkblower for FLA's Virus video.
And finally Download, the further reincarnation of Skinny Puppy after the death of Dwayne R. Goettel, composed the soundtrack for The Manson Family (a.k.a. Charlies Family).
On Downloads second album, The Eyes Of Stanley Pain, another tragic death was remembered. The track Outafter was dedicated to Brandon Lee who died during the making of The Crow . Outafter can be taken literatly cause director Alex Proyas had contacted Skinny Puppy for a song on the soundtrack but it was withdrawed by the band cause of artistic disputs.
Gregg Araki: Music was always important to me ( Totally F***ed Up )
Must be cause the man stuffed tons of songs (from good people like Numb, Front 242, Coil,...) into his movies and introduced Dwayne R. Goettel, cEvin Key and Nivek Ogre as actors -credited as Gang of Goons- in his The Doom Generation .

In the movie, an all-singing horror film set in the near future about organ failure and what happens if you claimed your new kidney and can’t keep up with payments, Ogre plays a major role as Pavi Largo.
Here's what the man himself has to say in this fragment of an interview with the cast and filmmakers from Toronto, Canada by Staci Layne Wilson:
Bill: I'm Bill Moseley and I play Luigi Largo, ..., and here's my brother.
Ogre: He sings quite well, by the way. I am Kevin Ogilvy and I play Ogre.

Ogre: Ogre.org. and I play Pavi who is a narcissist with a misogynistic twist, I guess to it. I love women, but more for their faces than for the actual contents of them. I see them as objects, I guess, and I usually believe that they're laughing with me, however usually I'm being laughed at more than anything at my brother is on me all the time, my father yells at me, my sister, no attention. I'm really happy to be part of this, it’s a great role for me coming from music and it allows me to play under a mask, which I'm kind of used to doing and the makeup is amazing. The people at this table I'm really honored to be with a good very, very kind to me. And it's been a great experience all around.
