Lanos Trebreh

Born in Barbados, Lanos spent his early years as a freelance writer/columnist, fashion model, marketing consultant and party animal. In early 1990 he packed his bags and spent the next 5 years happily traversing the Caribbean, Europe and the USA, while maintaining Frankfurt am Main as his home base. His obsession with electronic music started with The Omen,Dorian Gray, DJ T's Home-Base parties, Tanzpraxis, and Francesco, who centralised the Frankfurt scene with his now famous Bar 'Helium', and started the legendary Frankfurt Club The Box. A Laurent Garnier performance at Tanzpraxis in winter 1998 led to the birth of Mel Prophet and the founding of The Brooklyn Sound Machine.
