Born on the ashes of alisse, françois ginger & sebastien sharpesque falsetto get fed up one day and decided to start a new electronic diy project: 8isthehour. But, by any chance they met kevin p (who had played with mom's belly and legoparty), and the nervous drummer made them believe again in rock'n'roll!
A new trio was born in the region of Nivelles/Brussels (BE): paperweight.
Paperweight started touring after 2 months of improvisations during rehearsal. In May 2006, we released our first record: The All Star EP. The ep was warmly received by the indie netpress.
Since then, paperweight have been playing in Belgium with lot of local bands (pillow, daan, piano club, my little cheap dictaphone, kung-fu 77, natilla, etc.). and are now focused on our full-lenght record to be released endo of 2007 -if we have money, argh.
